What To Expect

With all our computer services the following standards can be expected.

Service Request Process
For computer repair, upgrades, etc.

 

Estimates

A free estimate will be given for each service request. Some estimates may require extra fees. This estimate is ONLY an estimate. The price may change after work has begun. If the price quoted in the estimate is going to go up, work will stop, and we will notify you. For more information on estimates visit the Rates page.


Pre-Service Contract

If you accept our estimate, a pre-service contract will be drawn up. The contract includes the present conditions of your computer, the estimated price with a statement that the estimated price may change, and an agreement that once the work is done that you will pay the bill upon its issue, unless another agreement has been reached. The pre-service contract must be signed before we will service your system. For more information on the pre-service contract visit the Contracts page.


Records

Detailed records will be kept while we fulfill your service request. Before the service we will take note of the cosmetic and operating condition of your computer. As we repair it we will keep time logs of the repair to give you an accurate measure of our labor. We will also keep track of everything that we change and repair in your system to make later repairs easier if you decide to keep us as your service contractor.


Post-Service Contract

When the service request has been completed, the post-service contract will be drawn up. It will include all of the details of the repair, an agreement that your computer is in working order and repaired to your satisfaction, that you will pay your bill or we will hold onto your computer until the bill is paid, etc. For more information on the post-service contract visit the Contracts page.


Service Completion

Once your service request has been completed, and you have paid your bill, you will be given a copy of all of the contracts, paperwork, any other information that may be necessary from your service request, as well as your computer. Depending on the nature of the service we may also inform you of ways of preventing further problems of the same nature. As always we will be available to answer all of your related questions.

Consultation Request Process
For consultation Services.

 

Consultation services are charged by the half-hour (see rate). Once we have clarified the area where you need consultation we will come up with the best plan to teach you what you want to know. Payment will be required at the end of each consultation session unless agreed upon otherwise.
